Unlike traditional laser hair removal treatment, Trilogy Ice targets 3 depths of the dermal tissue to ensure the hair follicle is eliminated at all levels. This makes it more effective than single wavelength treatment and also allows us to treat a much broader range of skin and hair types that usually not suitable for laser treatment. It can even be used on tanned skin and fair hair, which typically do not respond well to IPL or other types of lasers.
Whilst you will immediately see a reduction in hair growth following the first session of Trilogy Ice laser hair removal, most people need a course of 6-8 sessions to maximise results and achieve permanently hair free skin.
Thanks to the contact cooling system, treatment with Trilogy Ice is virtually painless. The skin is gently cooled and numbed to reduce any discomfort or irritation. The triple penetration lasers target all depths of the hair, so it not necessary to go over the same area repeatedly. This makes it much more pleasurable laser experience than most others.
We always require a patch test to be taken 48 hours before treatment begins. This will ensure you don’t experience any sensitivity or reaction to the laser.
We recommend you avoid any sun exposure prior to treatment to avoid any adverse reaction. The area that you are having lasered should be free from any topical products including creams, make-up and deodorant and should be shaved 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.
