The clinician will manage how deeply the solution needs to penetrate to achieve the desired result. Once they are satisfied with the progress, they will neutralise the active acids to halt activity at the right moment.
Any excess product is removed, and a protection serum applied before leaving the clinic. It’s totally normal to expect that your skin will look worse before it looks better as it goes through the peeling phase.
